Information for buyers

Viewing is by appointment.

Commission Bids; we are happy to execute a commission bid on your behalf. Simply call the office or email details of your bid prior to the start of the sale and we will bid on your behalf as if you were in the saleroom. We will attempt to get your lot for the lowest price that other bids will allow.

There is a 25% buyers premium inclusive of VAT (20.83.% + VAT). The Saleroom charges an additional 4.95% + VAT for use of their online platform.

Please arrange payment within three working days of the sale. Payment can be made by bank transfer or in person by cash or card. We do not take payment over the phone or via Paypal. We do accept international payment via Wise.com.

Collection is by appointment.

We are happy to suggest Mailboxes Etc, Banbury on 01295 277733 who will collect, pack and post items both internationally and nationally.

At the auctioneer’s absolute discretion we will post and pack unbreakable items. We advise checking with the office that a lot is able to be posted in house before bidding. There is a £10 handling charge for the first item, irrespective of size. Each additional lot carries a handling charge of £2. P&P is at cost via Royal Mail Special Delivery / International, or UPS (tracked, signed, compensated services). We will only be able to offer cheaper postage options if the buyer takes full responsibility in writing for any lost or damage in transit.
